Did you know the Lexus LC500 is among the lowest-selling cars in America? Only 1,294 have been sold this year. However, with its V-8 engine and 2025 updates, it’s still a great choice for luxury sports car fans.
The 2025 Lexus LC500 arrives with small updates and a slightly higher starting price of $100,425, which is just $625 more than last year. The hybrid starts at $103,575, while the convertible is the most expensive at $107,625.

The 2025 LC lineup sees a few notable updates. The biggest change is the addition of underfloor braces that enhance rigidity. Also, a new Iridium Silver paint option is now available across all models, inspired by the IS sedan and RX SUV. Plus, the hybrid now includes a carbon fiber scuff plate with the Sport package.
The LC500 Convertible now offers a stunning Iridium paint job and lets you choose between red or blue roofs, options that were once only available with a Bespoke Build.
Unfortunately, Lexus hasn’t updated the powertrain for 2025. The LC500 continues to feature the same 5.0-liter V-8 engine, delivering 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. This allows for a quick 0 to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 168 mph, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
These small changes may not boost sales, but the LC500 is still one of the few naturally aspirated V-8 touring cars, and that counts for a lot.
