To mark the Toyota Highlander’s 25th anniversary, Toyota has launched the Highlander 25th Edition. This special package gives the SUV a fresh look with silver rocker trim on the sides and silver accents on the front and rear. It features unique 20-inch wheels and is available in gray or white. If you’re having trouble spotting the changes, just check for the 25th Edition badge on the rear liftgate.
Inside, the 25th Edition features exclusive branding on the doorsills and seat headrests, all trimmed in leather. It also includes 25th Edition logos on the puddle lamps and special floormats. This special edition is based on the Limited Hybrid trim, offering premium features like a JBL stereo, three-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch center display screen. Note that only 2,500 units of this limited-edition model will be available in the US.
The Highlander lineup has also seen some updates. All hybrid models now feature all-wheel drive as standard. If you didn’t get the 25th Edition but like the Heavy Metal gray color, it’s available for XLE, Limited, and Platinum trims. Hybrid models now sport a new badge, and the sporty XSE adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a Sport Mode screen.
Toyota has announced that the base price for the standard Highlander LE FWD is $39,520, not including destination fees. This is a slight increase of $250 from the current model. The upcoming 2025 Highlander Hybrid, which will be all-wheel drive, is expected to start around $45,000.
The 2025 Highlander will be available in November.
