Richard Rawlings, the man behind Gas Monkey, was on edge before the bidding, hoping it’d hit somewhere in the mid-three to six-hundred-thousand range. Talk about nerve-wracking! So, about those mods – let’s just say, this Humvee’s got a whole new vibe. Picture this: it’s got a 2009 AM General Humvee body, but everything else? Totally custom. They’ve ditched the old frame for something fresh, slapped on bits from a 2019 Ram 1500 pickup for the front end, and even borrowed subframes from a Porsche Cayenne SUV.
